AUT-INS™ G-Series Adhesive Tapes

The adhesive tapes we incorporate into our components are supplied by one of Europe’s leading manufacturers.  We are able to offer tissue tapes, transfer tapes and scrim tapes in either striped presentation or full coverage.  We have access to specialised products which suit applications where low VOC is a requirement, high temperature areas as well as challenging environments within the engine bay area.

Material Characteristics

  • Weight: Ranging from 45g/m2 to 150g/m2
  • Thickness: Ranging from 0.09mm to 0.16mm
  • Composition: Modified or pure acrylic
  • Colour: Natural / clear
  • Flammability: To be tested assembled to components
  • Typical temperature stability: -40°C to +90°C

Special Characteristics

  • Full adhesive with tissue or scrim carrier and striped transfer adhesive
  • Contact time ranging from 1hr to 24hr depending upon grade
  • High temperature adhesives available with performance up to 160°C
  • Low VOC products available
  • Climate and Humidity resistant products available
  • Adhesive strength ranging from min16N/25mm to min25N/25mm
