AUT-INS™ F-Series Felts
AUT-INS F-Series range of fully cured non-phenolic felts are available in a range of thickness and weights to suit many different applications

Interior trim including instrument panels, doors, pillars, headlinings and luggage sides.
Material Characteristics
- Weight: Ranging from 500g/m2 to 1500g/m2 – other weights are available
- Thickness: Ranging from 7mm to 26mm – other thickness are available
- Composition: Various fibres including cotton and wool
- Colour: Generally dark blue / grey
- Flammability: FMVSS302 Dependant upon thickness
- Typical temperature stability: +80°C (General Interior vehicle temperatures)
Special Characteristics
- Some grades can be moulded
- Low cost
- Very high volumes available
- Offers good all round insulation for a varied frequency range
