AUT-INS™ B-Series Polypropylenes

AUT-INS™ B-Series Polypropylenes are predominantly used for acoustic absorption, usually in combination with a dampening layer but they are now also available in combination with an AUT-INS™ A-Series product to produce a lightweight dual-impedance material.

Typical application areas

Interior bulkheads (dashmats),Rear quarters, Seat backs for lightweight vehicles and Wheel Arches

  • Weight: Ranging from 370g/m² to 750g/m² - more weights available
  • Thickness: Ranging from 6mm to 12mm – more thicknesses available
  • Composition: Polypropylene Fibres
  • Colour: Grey
  • Flammability: Meets FMVSS 302
  • Typical temperature stability: –Interior materials +80°C
